Precision you
can hold.

A real B-rep solid modeler built on OpenCascade. Sketch with constraints, shape with a full parametric history, export STEP — on the device in your hands.

See how it's built

Defender 110–inspired SUV, modeled in Sculpt3D by an AI over MCP — 103 features, 49 bodies. Drag to turn it.

Parametric history

Every step stays
editable.

01

Three profiles, one body

A side profile, a plan with rounded corners and a front section with tumblehome, intersected into one solid. That's where the square shoulders and the upright stance come from.

02

Floating roof, flush glass

The body splits at the beltline into paint and a gloss-black greenhouse. The glass is cut from the greenhouse itself, so every window sits perfectly flush with the pillars.

03

Every detail, sketched

Round LED lamps with halo rings, a slot grille and honeycomb intake, flush door handles, gill vents, shut lines, arch flares and stacked tail lamps. Each one is a sketch, an extrusion or a boolean.

04

Twenty-inch split spokes

An all-terrain tyre and a dished rim revolved from profiles, ten spoke openings cut in one boolean, then brake discs, calipers and lug nuts. Patterned to the 3 022 mm wheelbase, mirrored, with a covered spare on the tailgate.

05

Paint it, light it

Thirteen materials applied with set_appearance: satin grey paint, gloss-black roof, glass, alloy, rubber and LEDs. Then exported to STEP for engineering and STL for printing.

Making-of · real recording

Watch an AI
build it.

Every frame is the Sculpt3D viewport, captured right after one MCP call. One sketch becomes a painted SUV in 103 history steps.

What's inside

A real kernel.
A touch-first workshop.

Sketches that solve themselves

Coincident, tangent, parallel, symmetric, equal, dimensions. A Gauss–Newton solver keeps your intent as you drag, and tells you when a sketch is fully constrained.

Parametric history

Edit any feature, suppress it, or drive it from variables and expressions like width / 2.

OpenCascade inside

Exact solids, not meshes. Booleans, fillets, chamfers, shells, drafts, sweeps and lofts on a proven industrial kernel.

Visualize

Physically based materials, studio environments and ground shadows. Capture renders at 4× for your portfolio.

Measure anything

Distances, angles, radii, areas and volumes between any bodies, faces and edges.

Plays well with everything

Import and export STEP, IGES, STL and BREP. Send parts to your machinist, your slicer or the rest of your CAD toolchain without losing precision.

Model Context Protocol

Describe it.
Watch it appear.

Sculpt3D for Mac runs an MCP server, so assistants like Claude can model in your open document — live, in the window, with every step in the history for you to edit.

  • 29 tools — sketch, extrude, revolve, booleans, fillets, patterns, measure, export.
  • Safe by design — localhost only, and every operation is trial-run before it touches your model.
  • Sees its work — screenshots come back to the assistant so it can check the result.
